Product Description
The drop shot worm is known to be used when the fishing are not biting well. The way you use this bait is the opposite of a Carolina rig using light line to start out with. Using a bell sinker to be tied on your line and you tie your drop shot worm above the weight. The distance between the weight and bait is to be judged on the length of the vegetation you are fishing so the bait will just swim on top of it. If your fishing a hard bottom surface such as a road bed, then a foot leader is really all you need. Also you can just drop this bait down to suspending fishing. The advantage of fishing this rig is that when your fishing on the bottom you can leave the bait in one area and move it around without pulling the bait toward you (out of the fish zone). This makes the bait look alive instead of just sitting there. It works great on bedding fish when they don't want to pick up anything.
